R-CHOP REGIMEN
|
|
An abbreviation
for a chemotherapy combination that is used to treat
non-Hodgkin lymphoma and mantle cell lymphoma and is being
studied in the treatment of other types of cancer. It
includes the drugs rituximab, cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin
hydrochloride (hydroxydaunorubicin), vincristine sulfate
(Oncovin), and prednisone. Also called R-CHOP.

A condition in children in which bones become soft and deformed because they don¿t have enough calcium and phosphorus. A skin condition that is a common side effect of radiation therapy. The affected skin becomes painful, red, itchy, and blistered.
